Way to abort a shutdown from the gui

does anyone have a way to abort a gui shutdown. i know there is a cmd line
shutdown command with an abort option, but is there a way to abort an
immediate shotdown. click start/shutdown etc.

thx for your help...

through group policy you can disable users access to shut
down a computer hope this was what you were lookin for
