WAV files

I have produced over 100 slides with 19 songs in an 80th birthday
presentation incorporating, photos, animations and music. All music has been
ripped as .wav files through iTunes, 18 songs work but 1 does not. I
originally had this with 4 songs but down to one now.

The song will work on the hard drive but not on the burnt CD. I have ripped
several formats (as I did with all four) .mp3, .cda into .wav but this is
the only song that is causing me frustrustion. Bette Midler - Wind beneath
my wings is the song.

As soon as you mention "iTunes" I start to think of Information Rights
Management IRM and copy protection, and you have the song but legal things
stop you using it how you want.

That's my best guess.

I am only using iTunes to import songs to rip into wav or mp3 formats. Given
that I have ripped other songs from the same CD & artist I do not believe it
to be a protection problem as they play in the presentation. I downloaded
the song from the net and ripped into a wav file also. Something I have
noticed is that most of the songs appear as Media# in the custom animation
but this song appears as its name but so do several other and they play fine.

Even though I changed the track## name to the song name do you know of any
residual track ## effects that might stop the song from playing.

# = number

Could be a long file path issue, then. Try renaming to just
wing.whateverextension
