Watermarks

I have a document that is split into a number of sections.
I am trying to put the same watermark on every page in the document, but it
appears that i can only put the watermark across one section of the document
at a time.
If i have a watermark across one section, and then move to the next section
and add a watermark, it removes the watermark from the first section.

Is there any way to put the same watermark across the whole document (and
various sections)

Since watermarks are objects anchored to the header paragraph, you can do
the following: In a section where you have the desired watermark,
double-click the header paragraph to activate the header/footer area. Select
the watermark on the page, copy it, and paste into the other headers of the
document.
