Want to reformat, but lost recovery disc

So I got a portable drive and backed up everything I need so I'm ready to
format, the only problem is I lost the disc to reset the computer to the way
it came. Is there someone to contact about a new disc or such?

Solved, never mind.

I do have another question, though: I'm in the market for a new processor,
what's a good program to run a diagnostics check on all my hardware, such as
motherboard and processor?
