Hi, my friend is running win98se and by pressing ctrl+alt+l he can make the computer looks like it hangs, no mouse movement and keyboard unless you will key in the correct password that you will unlock the computer back. All programs that are running still runs in background. The screen will show the exact screen before you lock it.
How will i do this win XP??
Thanks!!!

Hi,

You can just lock your workstation and all processes will continue to run in
the background.
Just push your Windows and L button at the same time and the log in screen
will appear where you can type in your password.

yes i do that always, but what i would like to see is the impression that it looks like it freezes but it does not actually. i dnt want to see the login screen where i would type my password...thanks agai

Why on earth would you want the computer to look like it's
frozen?! Get a hobby...
