Want to do dvd and song editting

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this, but I don't know where
to look.

U want to know which is the best programs (commercial or free) to do
the following:

1. Rip songs from my CD's and make my own CD favorites. Is Music
Jukebox a good program for this? Are there any others?

2. I record music shows on a DVD home recorder. How do I rip the songs
to a CD?

3. I need to backup my own DVD(commerica and homel) movies. what is a
good program to buy or use?

Any help appreciated.

Easy media creater 8, I just got it, seems like it will do what you want, as
long as you have the hardware to support it's functions.

Unless Music Jukebox has a CD-Rom burning utility, the answer is "No."
I got Nero 6.6 for $5 (with key) on Amazon.com

IT will do all you need. Just download the tracks you want to a
directory / folder on your hard drive and then use the Nero "Create
Data CD" utility. It will allow you to select the tracks you want to
burn, and it will also tell you when you have maxed out your CD before
you attempt to burn and waste a CD. This works with both CD-Rs (write
once only) and with CD-RWs (read/write many times).. I tested with CD
RWs a half-dozen times before i went with CD-Rs so that I wouldn't
waste disks.

So if you don't have Nero, at LEAST Nero 6.6, it's an EXCELLENT
investment, and it's cheap.

Thanks, I checked and I do have Nero 7.0 so I will experiment with it.
