I need help....please!!!

I sure hope someone can help me with this. I don't know what to do, and I'm
at my wits end.

HP desktop computer with Windows XP Pro

I had a Music folder on my hard drive with 10,819 song in it listed
individually. I use Music Match Jukebox Plus as my music manager. Somehow,
subfolders appeared under the Music folder. each subfolder NOW has an
artist(s) name, and another subfolder under that one with the songs in it.
NOW, the songs listed in Music Match won't play. When I click a song, a box
drops down that says:

MUSICMATCH JUKEBOX

E:\Music\Planotones, Kenny Vance_The - Please Say You Want Me.mp3 could not
be found
If this file is on a removable media, please replace the media, and try
again. Otherwise, please click on the desired button.

There are four buttons: Skip, Skip All, Retry, and Abort.

All but 14 songs are listed this way.

I've been using Music match for many years, and all my songs have ALWAYS
been listed individually in my Music file. I would just like to know what
happed, and is there anyway to get them back to being listed individually
again under one folder?

This ALSO happened on a small Acer laptop that had Windows XP Home. IT had
11,168 songs in the file.

I hope someone can resolve my problem and get me back to where I was before.

Thank you!

It would seem like the player decided to update your music collection
using a service like Gracenote. All CDs have a unique ID that can be
used to obtain Metadata ( Data about other Data ). Things like Track
numbers, album artwork...

Unless you have a backup ( or Image ) of the Music folder it's not an
easy/simply process to undo.

The problem you describe can be applied to other Media Players who
unless pre-configured will "Help" arrange your music collection for you.

*snip the rest*

After reading that, its obviously not a Windows XP issue (or any Windows
for that matter) and a problem with MusicMatch Jukebox Plus. Have you
tried to locate a support forum for them?
