Wan Port of RAS server registering in DNS

One of my 2003 domain controllers is having errors caused because the
ras wan port keeps registering itself in dns as "same as parent
folder". This causes \\mydomain.com to fail. When I delete the
record, I can unc to this address. How can I keep the wan port from
registing in my ad integrated dns?

Under the TCP/IP properties for the WAN adapter, choose advanced, then DNS
and deselect 'Register this connection in DNS'
