Wan Miniport driver

I had a notebook that crashed. I tried to restore my back
on the new one and everything works great except my wan
miniport driver is missing for pptp. All my vpn
connections are there but the show as L2TP which won't
work. I looked in device mgr showing hidden devices and
the wan miniport driver for pptp is missing. I can find
nowhere how to reload this device driver. I also tried
reinstalling XP Pro after the backup hoping it would see
it missing and recreate it, but no luck there. Any
ideas????

rarepair.exe can usually fix this.
