"run a dll as an app has encountered a problem and needs
to close..."

I get this when I right-click on the desktop, choose
properties, and click on the Desktop tab. I'm trying to
change my wallpaper picture. I've installed all the
windows updates. What do I do?

Thanks

Hey man,
this Problem is the problem that has also ocuured in my
personal computer. The only and only solution would be to
run a Repair. That is boot from the "WinXP CD" at the
frist screen press Enter ..Agree to Agreement & then "R".
The system will take 39-45 mins to do so. This is
basically the Repair XP option. Remmem to take a backup
of files in Desktop & My Docs which is most likely to get
lost. :( Well i did loose... Start > Run = "sfc /scannow"
the function that restores all the WinXP original System
files also fails to do so ..so the above mentioned
Solution shud be fine.
