Wallpaper list

Dozen of pics from My Pictures and its subfolders now populate the list of
Wallpaper images (right-click Desktop|properties|desktop).
In the past only the images in that list were those in
c:\windows\web\wallpaper - plus the current wallpaper image file.

The "Wallpaperdir" entry in the registry points to the above path.

Please suggest what entry or setting can make the list revert to what it was
- exclusively the wallpapers that are housed in the "wallpaper" folder, and
no others.

Make a new folder in My Documents - but not in the My Pictures folder -
for your pictures. Move the pictures you don't want to appear in the
list to the new folder.

That should do the job, thanks. Still, the underlying mystery is why the
behavior changed.

In the past, only the "wallpaper" directory items were shown...and the
"extra" images have been in My Pictures and its subdirectories for years.
Ours is not to reason why... ^

Use your brain moron. Because that's what users want to do. You are so stupid.

"Users"? Thanks, David. Consider seeking professional help.

I don't need to as I knew the reason. It's blindly obvious. Only morons can't see it.

Indeed. Perhaps Malke, who is always civil and helpful, or another
non-moron can explain what is obvious to you.
There are no other users on this box, incidentally.

I just got the same problem, but those extra images aren't listed in the
Wallpaper folder (\web). They only are displayed in the Display under Control
Panels. Is that what you are experiencing?
