w95 workgroup subnet - w2k domain subnet; shares?

win95 pcs
workgroup
networked together on a subnet not shared by domain pcs.

w2k workstation,
domain member,
two nics
nic 1 in domain subnet
nic 2 ip outside domain subnet & connected exclusively to the
isolated network of w95 boxes
ics off

Want to expose a share on the w2k box that the win95 boxes can see.
This share will act as a file transfer area between win95 and domain
pcs.

I cannot enable the guest account on the w2k box because of policy.

How can I setup the w95 and w2k pcs to allow the w95 pcs to see/use
the w2k share?

Right now I'm getting an ipc$ password request. Whos password
does it want? Tried many. No success.

The computer with the two NICs can access the the 2K share if you log on to
that machine with an account that exists on the 2K computer.

You won't be able to connect the other 95 machines in this manner without
third party software. Windows 95 doesn't route or support ICS.

I'm not sure I made this clear OR I'm not sure I understand your
response. So, just to clear my mind:

It's the w2k machine with the 2 nics. One nic on the domain side, one nic
on the w95 network. I want the w95 boxes to see a w2k share (open
to everyone) but NOT the domain.

We've done this before. I wish I remembered how. (Does this have anything
to do with guest accounts?)

Thanks Rob.

If you log on to the 95 PC with an account that exists on the 2000 PC you
should be able to access any share.

There is no account... right? I can't log into a w95
under a user that exists on the w2k box since no account exists.
Only domain accounts reside on the w2k box and the w95 box
is not a member. Again, is that
what the guest account it for? Corp has disabled it.
Thanks
