W32.randex.gen

Mp computer is infected with the w32.randex.gen virus,i
have used norton to scan and clean up the virus but it
wont let me delete it.
Can any body let me know how to get it off the computer
because its starting to do my head in lol.i have windows
xp and would be grateful if any body could help
