w32.hllw.nebiwo virus-cant remove a file

Rob

hello,
I recently had the nebiwo virus and im unable to
completly remove it. I used the symantec tool to remove
the virus and it said it is not on the computer but after
doing a scan with my anti virus (Norton Anti virus) it
said the compressed file prrit.exe within
C:\undo\backup.cab is infected with the W32.HLLW.Nebiwo
virus. It wont let me quarintine or delete this file. I
thought I could replace this file (extract from cd) but
im unable to do this. Any ideas?

This is not a Windows file. You do not want it back. I'm uncertain what
the Undo folder is, in the C: drive, but it would appear to be some type of
backup storage for a 3rd party "cleanup" utility. As long as its in the CAB
file, and nowhere else on your system, then you just need to find out what
that backup.cab file is from and remove it.
