I am getting an error that says "Cannot empty clipboard" while using excel in
TS. Microsoft has confirmed the issue in KB840872. They say there is a hotfix
available, but that I would need to contact them. Rather than waste the time
of contacting them and paying a possibly large fee, does anyone have this
hotfix available for download?

Hotfixes are not downloadable and free of charges.
Just phone Microsoft support and ask for the specific hotfix,
referencing the KB article.
If you don't ask other support questions during the same call, it
will not cost you anything, and you will get it withing minutes.
