w2k to xp pro network

I have xp pro running on one desktop with a dsl
connection. I am setting up a w2k pro desktop to network
with the xp. Connection is via a Linksys wireless
hub/router wired to the xp pro and a usb adapter on the
w2k machine. No problem with internet connection but I
cannot access the files on the xp machine from the w2k
workstation. I cannot even see it in my Network Places in
explorer. I have disabled the firewall, and correctly
shared the files I want to use. Any ideas?

DISREGARD. I realized that the firewall in the router was
set to ON. Problem solved.
