W2K SP4a or SP5 Time Frame

We are preparing to roll out W2K SP4, but also know that
the Blaster Worm fix, KB823980, needs to be reapplied
after upgrading to SP4. Does anyone know if there is a
time frame for a newer Service Pack for W2K? I realize
that SP4 was just released in June, but in light of recent
events it seems reasonable to expect a new service pack
with the KB823980 hotfix included.

Apparently there was a mixup. The MSblast fix does not need to be reapplied
after installing SP4.

The SP automatically removes the hotfix. It does not mean
it's not there.

It does not. It should still be there, else it should be reinstalled.
