W2k Server Explorer Folders Greyed ???

I noticed on one of our W2K servers that when I look at Explorer in the
Folders view the Folders (in the Left Pane) is Grey. No matter how I
access it, it is grey I only see contents on the right pane.
What Ideas are out there to get the Pane not to be a PAIN?
