W2K Routing Issue - Only routes one way

M

mark

I have a W2K server box with routing enabled connecting
together two networks (82.133.13.0 and 172.20.20.0 with
masks of 255.255.255.248 and 255.255.255.0 respectively).

I can ping from the 82. network into the 172. network via
the W2K server, but cannot ping or connect into the 82.
network from the 172. network. However, I can ping the
NIC on the 82. network of the W2K box, but no further.

Any ideas???????

have you enable the ip routing? or post the result of the routing table.

What are the default routes of the clients in each subnet? If it is not
the W2k router, you will need extra routing to get the traffic to the router
from the default gateway!
