W2K Resources Question

I seem to recall that it was wise to maintain a certain minimum amount
of drive space in order for Windows to function properly (was this
advice only for Windows 95 or 98 and not W2K?). Or maybe I'm confused
thinking about not dropping below 20% Windows resource useage/availability.

In any event, I have three 70 Gb SCSI internal hard drives. I have the
swap/paging file (are they the same thing?) at minimum on the C drive,
and the proper amount on both the other two drives. My C drive has only
20% free space left. Is there a problem adding more to the C drive, or
should I keep a certain amount of free space available (how much?)?
