I have a windows 2k professional box. It only boots with
the win2k boot disk. After booting up it works just fine.
How can I get it to boot without the boot disk?

Thanks,

Set the pc to boot to the CDROM (in the BIOS). Insert your Windows 2000
cd in the cd drive, boot the pc. Press R to repair, and then press R to
use the Emergency Repair process. When you do this, you will see the
following options:

- Manual Repair: To choose from a list of repair options, press M.
- Fast Repair: To perform all repair options, press F.

Press M. Select Inspect startup environment.
