W2K pro and NT

I have W2K Professional installed. Why do some games think
I am running NT and won't play. Is there something I can
do. The box says Win 2000 will run the game. please help

Windows 2000 is a Windows NT based OS, what games are you referring to? You
may just need a patch for the game itself.
