W2K and Windows 2003 Domain Controllers

I am implementing a NAS solution in a 2003 AD Domain
environment but cannot connect to resources (shares) b/c
of the digital signature and secure channels which is not
supported by the NAS head yet. NAS solution is supported
under the 2000 AD domain and NT 4.0 Domain environment.

Question:

If I create another NT4 domain and create a trust between
NT 4 Domain and the 2003 AD Domain, will this bypass the
kerberos authentication and use NTLM with the NAS servers
residing in the NT4 Doamin?

Any help would be great, especially links to documents on
this specific subject.

Thanks

Thanks. Do you think it might work as a temporary
solution? They were moving from NT4 anyway and I could be
a member of the NT4 domain and communicate from NAS -> NT4
Domain <--> Trust <--> Windows 2003 Domain<---> Clients.

Thanks for the help. The document did help.
