To eliminate WinME as an option from the boot loader:
1. attrib -r -h -s C:\boot.ini
2. copy boot.ini boot.bak (always make a backup!)
3. notepad boot.ini
4. delete the whole line containing WinME (it should be fairly obvious)
5. save
6. reboot.
The boot loader will no longer show WinME as an option. If you need to
bring it back, add the line back in from your boot.bak.
