VPN not available in Network Connection Wizard

Hello,

I have what is most likely a simple problem but I am at a
loss to find any kind of solution posted anywhere on this
issue. I have a Win2K Pro SP4 system which I need to set
up to connect to a Win2K server via PPTP VPN. However when
I go to the Network Connection Wizard to set up a new VPN
connection this option is greyed out and not available. Is
there a specific system service that needs to be running or
network component installed for VPN? I thought that it was
built in by default to Win2K. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Bob,

I had the same problem.

The solution is provided in

http://kb.indiana.edu/data/akuu.html

In fact just turn some services on (Telephony, Plug and Play and Remote
Acces) and go ahead!
