VPN error 800

don't have a lot of computer knowledge. Here's my problem. I have a
desktop that is connected to a wireless router. I have no trouble
connecting to work VPN through the desktop. On the laptop, however, I
get the error 800 message. I've tried connecting with the firewall off
and on - any other thoughts? thanks.
