VPN Connections to Remote XP Computers

What is the procedure to create a VPN PPTP connection between two
stand-alone computers (no server). Just port forward 1723 to the IP address
of the computer or do I need to create a new port since it is not a server
connection? Are there any other settings that need to be checked to allow
the connections?

That is excellent! So this setup will only work for one computer in a LAN
without creating new VPN ports? I don't need to connect to more than one,
but it would be nice to know if I need to access more than one anytime in
the future.
