VPN Connection Error 733

Hello,

I am trying to establish a vpn connection between two machines but I always
get the error 733 which suggests I should look at the protocols. I can't see
any protocol settings on the host (XP Pro) except for IP and there is
nothing unusual in those settings (that I can find). I have tried using
automatic configuration, ppp and l2tp connections from the client with the
same error. The client is also XP Pro.

The username and password I provided for the connection is an administrator
and has permission to log on through the network and terminal services.

There are no firewalls or routers in between the two machines.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

However, above mentioned articles do not address Win XP "Incoming
connections" feature.

I now have the connection working thanks. I had a static IP assigned to the
client which for some reason stops the connection.
