VPN trouble...error 733

When I try to VPN to a classmate's computer I get error
733: a connection to the remote computer cannot be
completed... you might need to adjust the protocols on
this computer... from what I can gather the error means
the 2 computers cannot agree on a PPP control protocol...

Any ideas??

both machines are win xp pro, could it have somthing to
do with the fact that I have a linksys router using NAT,
and the router uses DHCP to assign my computers IP
addresses..?

I have seen this problem... Did you double check the multi-link
option (disable it) under the Network tab (Settings Button)?
