Volume won't get any higher

I've just bought my pc, but ive kept my old polk audio
speakers. They worked fine on my other computer but for
some reason the volume is really low. I turned the volume
all the way up on my computer and windows media player,
but for some reason the audio is really low. Can someone
help me?

Make sure you have changed the system or wave
volume.

Start>>Run>>sndvol32.exe
