Volume control

Ok. Time to laugh. Here's my story:

This morning I woke up and discovered my dog had walked on my keyboard! In
doing so, SOMEHOW my volume control thingy (the standard MS one) now has a
different look to it. It only had 3 sliders, and I think they ar now
left-to-right instead of up-down. Looked at options, can't find a way to
change back...

Help! (once you've stopped laughing that is...lol)

Not sure about the left to right thing but if you go into options on
the volume dialog box you can mark which ones you want to show. That
should get your lost sliders back.

LOL - try reinstalling it, see this article for instructions on how to do it otherwise have you
tried a system restore?
