Hi people! I'm new in this forum. I have Win XP and since last Friday I have
a problem with my volume control. It is sort of "tilt". When I try to turn it
up, the small button in the control automatically decreases and gets back to
the lowest position. I can´t select "silence" either. I thought at first it
could be some problem with the volume buttons on my keyboard, so I tried
chaging it for my old keyboard, but still got the same problem. When I go to
the Control Panel to check the sound configuration there, the same thing
happens, and besides the very image of the speaker seems to titillate. I'm
quite puzzled with this issue, have no idea how to solve it, and (odd as it
may seem) I really need to use the volume high, 'cos I work with my PC the
whole day, they contact me for work via IM and email, and as I can´t be
sitting all day on the desk, I leave the PC on, with volume at its highest,
so that I can know when someone is contacting me.
I would really truly appreciate any help or suggerence!!
Thanks a lot in advance!
