Voive recording

Hello,
General question this.
I want to be able to record and log phone conversations on to my hard drive.
When I was using a modem I used a programe called Modem Spy, this will not
work with Broadband/ADSL and so on.
I have tried a search on Google with limited results.
What is the generic name given to these types of programes or bits of
hardwear?
Better still, could someone throw a few websites my way remembering that
most work only with modems, I have broadband.

As long as you have a regular dial modem in the PC, that program should still
work. You just have to make sure the phone is hooked through the modem and
has a DSL filter attached if you use DSL. I've never used Modem Spy but if it
worked before, there's no reason it shouldn't work now.
 
If you're PC is new and doesn't have a dial up modem, you can buy one for
about $15 nowadays.
