Voice recognition typing

Hi, there,

My Word XP was pre-installed with Speech recognition typing. I just
selected Tools > Speech and followed the instruction to complete one
round of training successfully. I expect that new buttons would have
been added to my language tool bar. But I can't find buttons like
"dictate" on it. It's still the same old language tool bar I have
before do the training. What is wrong?

By the way, I use Windows XP with SP2. My language bar has English,
Chinese (PRC) and Chinese (Taiwan) input method in it.

Many thanks
Woody

It is the Microsoft speech recognition typing program that comes with
Office XP. I don'thave a manual but I read some article on the web
saying that after "training" the system, I can click on the "dictate"
button on the language bar to start the voice recognition typing. Any
thoughts?
