It will give you links to the software you need and how to put a full length

Total Video Converter

$45.95

What I'm looking for is a FREEWARE viewer/converter for .3gp video
files that I have taken with my Nokia 6230i mobile. I notice that TVC
costs $45.95 for the programme - even if the download is free. This
to my mind is a shareware programme and not a freeware one. Has this
group now accepted that free downloads are classed as 'freeware'?

regards to all,

Ant

Ant,
Hanson Woo was recommending a program as freeware and John was
replying to the effect that it was NOT freeware by pointing out that it
cost money. This was a kind of "read between the lines" thing, so *no*,
this group has *not* accepted all free downloads as freeware. Note
though, that in the past I've encountered true freeware (or at least a
type of software that this group allows discussion of) that was
described as being a "free download". Thus, "free download" is a kind of
generic term that might or might not mean freeware. Each instance needs
to be examined on its own merit.

As for what you need, here is one to look at (note that I haven't used it):

Found it listed at Tucows, but I'd still be careful to make sure it
doesn't have spy/adware incorporated into it.

HTH.
