Viva Pinata - Create Active Gamer Profile

Am unable to create active gamer profile which is asked for when game starts
up. Directed to hit "home" key to get the process started. I've tried 2
keyboards and no success.

The games plays great, but frustrated I can't save.

Solutions? Thanks.
