Visual Que to SP2 installations?

My wife observed that after I updated her PC with SP2, the group of colored
dots (the ones that move across in the startup splash screen) had changed
from green to blue. Sure enough, all my computers with SP2 now display
blue moving dots on the startup splash screen. I think they were green
before.

Can anyone confirm this color change? Is that visual clue to having SP2
installed?

Yes, that change affects both XP Home and XP Pro
after installing SP2....entirely by design.
