Vista XP, Download Common Updates Once - Install Up dates to Both.

I run Vista & XP as Dual Boot.
Is it possible to Download common updates for say Messenger, Live, One Care,
Etc.
Then install the updates to both Vista and XP without the need to download
them again seperately when the updates are the same for both OS.
Can this also be done for for other common programs such as Office 2007,
Media layer 10, Etc.
This would be a great saver for Broadband or Dialup users on limited monthly
dowload allowances.

Pretty sure the answer to that is no... at least not through automatic
update... you could download the items directly from windows update site and
save them to your pc though...
