Vista will not start-up

I have had a problem getting my computer to start up and it appears that a
file may be corrupted, possibly the crcdisk.sys file (I found this out by
booting up in safe mode and the computer stops booting when it gets to this
file).

I do not have a rescue and recovery disk and I do not have a Vista disk. I
have a lot of files on the computer that are not backed up. Does anyone have
solutions for getting my thinkpad T60 to boot up. I am running Vista
Business.

Thx, DPG

The crcdisk.sys file is simply the last file that loads when going to Safe
Mode.

Contact the maker of the system for help. Usually if they do not provide a
recovery disk, they will have a hidden partition that can be used to recover
the system.
