Hello,
Am writing to ask, as the subject line states, why the files from various
web pages will load into my Temporary Internet Files folder, yet be 100%
invisible. Never had this occur in past versions, if there was a particular
image or file I wanted from a page that was not accessible via the numerous
ways possible (right clicking to save, clicking and dragging the item up to
the address line in the browser, etc.), I could always count on my being
able to access them via the folder.
For whatever reason, a moment ago I went to check for a file using the Tools
exact amount right now), none of the files or even folders were viewable. I
even tried switching to allow hidden files to show, refreshed, and it
remained the same.
Then I had a brunette moment (so I don't upset any blondes out there!) and
for some reason, I decided to change the attributes (read only, hidden) to
see if that helped, and when it didn't uncover the files, I changed it back.
Not smart. Now whenever I try to access any web page, a window pops up with
"File Download - Security Warning" in the title bar, then in the body of
this window it has -- Name: navcancl - Type: Unknown File Type, 2.64KB -
From: ieframe.dll, with the "Save" or "Cancel" buttons. Tagged onto the
bottom is a warning from my Anti-Virus program stating "The file you are
downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is either corrupted
or it has an incorrect file type. As a security precaution, it is
recommended that you cancel the download."
Okay, so what;s up with the Temporary Internet files, and now more
importantly, with my Internet Explorer? Is there something as with Win 98SE
where you can right click through the control panel on the browser to run a
fix on it?
Thank you so much in advance for your kind assistance to these questions!

Properties showed 775 files plus "x" amount of folders (don't recall on theBrowsing History Settings > View Files method, and even though the
exact amount right now), none of the files or even folders were viewable. I
