hidden temporary internet files

I am also having problems viewing temp internet files. I run vista home
premium. None of the paths in previous paths on these posts take me to
'temporary internet folder'. When I access it through 'Internet Options'
only shows a handful of items after hours of surfing. I also like to use
this folder for accessing vids, ect. I have unchecked view hidden
file/folders and still nothing. With XP home this folder would be packed
full of items, with vista only a few items. How do I allow ALL temporary
files to be viewed?

To see the (hidden) cache folders in the Temporary Internet Files folder in
Explorer, type this in the Run box, and click OK:

"C:\Users\(Your Name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5"

You may also have files in:

"C:\Users\(Your Name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Low\Content.IE5"

Thanks dean-dean, but that did not work...'run' with 'IE7' also and didnt
work. The folders are empty. Could it be that 'Live One' is blocking my
efforts to view.
I can follow the path as far as 'Windows' but no folder named 'Temporary
Internet Files', even with show hidden checked. Do you hve any other
suggestions? ..am very sad that this option seems to be lost in Vista.

Check IE7 > Tools > Internet Options, and on the General tab, under
"Browsing history", click on Settings. Confirm that the location of your
cache is C:\Users\(Your Name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary
Internet Files. For the Windows cookie and cache combo view, you can click
on "View Files".

Besides checking "Show hidden files and folders", "Hide protected operating
system files (Recommended)" must be un-checked in Folder Options (Apply,
OK). The Run (Windows key + R) command should work. The command may not
work in IE7.

You are a genius!! The unchecking of the 'hide protected' must've done it.
Thank You Very Much. Don't even need my extractors now.
