Vista Supported Devices

When Windows XP first came out, there was a list of devices (printers,
faxes, modems) that were supported. If I remember correctly, there was even
a program that could be run to check your present I/O devices to see if they
were compatible with Win XP. Is there any such list or program that will
tell me if my present printers and DSL modem is supported by Vista? I need
to get another PC soon to replace my old Dell running Windows XP home
edition, but would like to know if I had to replace my present I/O

Windows Vista's initial release pretty much micmicks those of past Windows
releases, there will always be a set of applications or devices that are not
compatible. I suggest you run the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to determine
if you will need to acquire new versions or upgrades to your existing
hardware and software.
