A few days ago I was having trouble with my McAffe and it was causing all
kinds of trouble with my internet explorer well I guess it is working now but
my side bar doesn't work anyone have a suggestion on why this would happen?

I don't know why your Sidebar doesn't work but I do have these notes on
repairing it:

Windows Vista - Windows Sidebar Repair - Reinstall (MVP Daniel Martin)

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and
select "Run as administrator".

Type these commands one by one:

Regsvr32 atl.dll [enter]
Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll" [enter]
Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll" [enter]

Maybe If You Would Wipe Vista Off Your Machine And Install Windows 2008
Server, Just FYI You Wouldn't Have Any More Problems.
