Hello all

How can I change the default shutdown to shutdown and not sleep.

When I go to start shutdown the shutdown window comes up defaulted to sleep
where do I change this setting.

Also I can't change the default home page in IE how do I do this.

Thanks

Tony, I deleted mine but I was getting same thing you describe before I did.
I would tell Vista to shutdown, immediately get a black screen, and then
gibberish all over the screen. Then I would have to manually shut down my
computer. Upon turning the computer on, Vista would report that it was
waking up from sleep. Then I decided to delete it. Will wait for RC1 and 64
bit (I hope).

Hello,

To change the default behavior of the "power" button, open the control panel
and select power options, Then on whichever power plan you are using, click
on edit plan settings, then click on Advanced Plan Settings and you can change
the button option from there.

Tony:

Yes, this is extremely annoying. Why doesn't it default to the last
action selected?
