Vista shutdown options

Hi,

When i hit the Windows button and choose Shutdown, I'm always
presented with the "Sleep" option. Can anyone tell me if it is
possible to change this default to "Shut Down" and if so, how to do
it?

From Vista help files search "power state" you get the following:
What happens when I click the Power button on the Start menu?
By default, Windows puts your computer to sleep. However, you can change
what happens when you click the Power button.

To change what happens when you click the Power button
1.. Click to open Power Options.

2.. On the Select a power plan page, click Change plan settings under the
selected plan.

3.. On the Change settings for the plan page, click Change advanced power
settings.

4.. On the Advanced settings tab, expand Power buttons and lid, expand
Start menu power button, click On battery or Plugged in (or both), click the
arrow, and then click Sleep, Hibernate, or Shut Down.

5.. Click OK, and then click Save changes.
