If you are re-installing then when you attempted to activate your copy of
Vista you were probably told that 'you cannot activate because your product
key is already in use.' Yes it is in use because 'you' are using it. All you
need do is use the telephone activation option. The system is automated and
will probably refuse activation again, 'however' stay on the line and you
should be transferred to a 'real' person. Explain the situation and your
system will be activated.
