Vista mail

I have bellsouth.net, I cannot open my mail I am getting error:
0x800C0148. Does anyone know what that is

Usual cause of that error is anti-virus applications like McAfee or Norton?
Disable the email scanning option in the AV App'.
 
I went and turned it off. Then I restarted to computer. No luck still
getting it any other ideas all are welcome

Disabling McAfee or Norton antivirus is not sufficient. Those
programs are so deleterious to Windows Mail that they must be
uninstalled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
