Windows Vista Vista & iTunes

I recently installed Vista Ultimate on my Home built PC (The same one I had the overheating problem with)

I have an iPod and intend to use iTunes. When I click it, there is a tiny bit of hard disk activity, then the activity light switches off.
ITUNES DOES NOT LOAD!!!! It is iTunes 7.4 and a 32 bit Vista.

Any suggestions?

I've had a look round for you to see if I can find any problems, but I can't see anything mentioned for recent versions of iTunes. It might be worth re-installing it and see if that does anything?
