Vista Help and Support

When I click on the Help and Support button on the start button it comes up
but with an error message saying:

Internet Explorer cannot download / from help.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

I clicked yes fot Help and Support to download new content from the
internet. But I didn't have a internet connection when I set it up. Is
there an easy way to fix this either through the registry or some other
means? I am connected ot the net now and it still says the same error. Can
someone please help me?
Thanks.

Not sure but I would try Help and Support, got to the help option in the
right hand top corner, select settings and uncheck the option to "Include
Windows Online Help...." - then if you want to try it again (I suggest maybe
a restart first) then go in and re-select that option (assuming you still
have an online connection).

Dreamweaver installed, by chance? If so, see the following TechNote from Adobe:

Vista help system stops working when Dreamweaver is the default XML editor:
