Vista Express Upgarde

Has anyone recieved any copies yet? I was told mine would come the middle of
this month but I've yet to get it. I am beginning to a little PO'ed over
this! I've called Gateway, Microsoft, and Moduslink none of which can tell
when or even if my disk will be sent. I asked for a Supervisor from Moduslink
to call, which he never did. I sent an email which, of course, I got an
automated response to which told me nothing. I'm not getting anywhere, please
let me know what your experience has.

When I go to the website it shows Validated but a blank Shipping
Date..........
it has been 1 month
no return emails
phone is on a 2hr wait list

they say patience is a virtue............so this must be a test

I see the same thing on website. I would be a much happier customer if I was
at least in some way informed as to what is going on.

My HP laptop has a shipping in 2-3 weeks. delivery TBD

but my oem wont even validate !!

it would of been easier to buy vista and save on the phone bill

Be careful what you hope for.

One of my machine's "Shipping Date" status changed to "March 2007" about a
month ago. Wasn't so happy about it being March, but at least it looked like
progress. Not for long...

It changed to "TBD. Check back in 2-3 weeks for more information" 2 weeks
ago. Had I not checked the status 2 weeks ago there would have been no way
to know when "2-3 weeks" began. What a crappy way to present "information."

MS and the OEMs can point fingers all they want. But wait till it's in their
best interest to keep selling PCs on the eve of another OS release. Methinks
"Moduslink Memories" won't easily be forgotten.

these upgrades in this NG some time ago. If you're new to the group, then,
well, you must've missed those threads. I know that doesn't provide an
answer, and feel free to cuss me out, but there it is.
